Mission Statement

Crossroads College Preparatory School is a small, independent school located in the Central West End.  With a rich history of cultural diversity, Crossroads College Prep concentrates on college preparation for middle and upper school young men and women.

Crossroads College Prep provides an academic atmosphere for students to develop by learning traditionally and experientially in an informal environment that blends hard work and scholarship with humor, imagination, and discovery.  Graduates of Crossroads College Prep demonstrate academic prowess, the ability to think critically, aesthetic appreciation, and a strong belief in themselves and their ability to succeed.

All upper school classes receive ½ credit per semester.

AP classes and college classes are weighted.

89 AP exams were given in 2007 in Calculus, English Language, English Literature, French Literature, Psychology, Studio Art, US History and World History.  Approximately 75% received a score of 3 or higher, making them eligible for college credit.  There were 13 AP Scholars.
